Dianne, I had the pleasure of knowing your Dad over the years with Legion curling and at Clear Lake with Doug and Ila Hockin. Your Dad and my Grandpa Collins shared many good times at the White Rose Service Station on Rosser Ave. The message you read from your Dad was so appropriate and showed that inner wisdom your Dad had. It is a message that should not be forgotten by any of us. Would it be possible to get a copy of your Dad's message?. What he said can benefit us all in years to come. We all will miss him, but his kindness, humour and good memories are forever.Sincerely, Robert Ferguson,Neepawa.

Our family has known George for almost as long as I can remember, and my Dad was so glad to have him as a friend. They worked together at Anglo in the 60's, and remained friends to the present day. My Dad spent a lot of time in the hospital due to his diabetes in the past few years, and he was always so much happier on the days that George would call him.
George remained my Dad's connection to Brandon, and always had a grand story or joke to tell. He wanted so badly to get back to Brandon to see George one last time, but his poor health made the trip impossible.
Its a rare thing to have so true a friend, and I'm sure many people count George as one of their finest. We will all truly miss him...

To say "we're sorry" is an under-
statement, and trust you know our thoughts are with you all. George first came into our lives in 1960, as Geordie's "boss" at the Anglo West End Service Stn. Many good times came of that and we always kept in touch, even after our move to Alberta. Nothing like old friends, and we'll miss him.
Remembering the good times - Geordie and Marie Morrison,Nanton, AB.
