Today we said our last goodbyes to my Dad. I, along with the rest of Dad's family would like to thank our friends who have given us their support. It has made the last week or so much easier for us. We would also like to thank everyone who attended his funeral and those who left their thoughts and prayers here in this tribute. I wish I could have talked to each and everyone
who attended today to thank you personally. Lastly, we would like to thank Wade, Kim and the rest of the staff at Brockie Donovan. Your kindness and professionalism is greatly appreciated.

Brock was one of my dad's dearest friends and although I haven't seen him in many years, I remember him with fondness. I first met Brock as a little girl when we lived in Shilo and I would refer to him as "my dad's funny friend" because he would always make us kids laugh. I remember he told the best stories too. Brock was a kind and quiet man who would help anyone. You will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

I have so many memories of Grandpa, having spent the majority of my childhood at the house either in the pool or in the shop sitting on the little red stool. Watching him build something new and later on just sitting around chatting about where I've been and how fast Taryn was growing up.
We are grateful for everything you did for us and will never forget you. We love you Gramp!

Although we were not family by blood we alway felt welcome as though we were. Stan meet Dale at about age ten and I around sixteen. (Mr.) As we always refered to him was always busy with some project or another. We remember him building a huge tv that he ordered and it came in several boxes.
We remember the many hours with him, spent in Camp Hugh's on the quads and ski-do.
We are forever thankful for our many wonderful years we had to get to know and enjoy Mr. You are loved and missed, and will never be forgotten.
Stan & Tracy Schroeder.

When I first met dad, as I called him, he was sitting in his favorite chair in his kitchen at his home in Shilo MB. in the spring of 1987. He was very quiet at first, but once he found out I had never been on a tractor, within weeks we were on the tractor together and that was my first picture we had taken together and from then on, the fun activities were endless. It was enjoyable to be a part of The Adair family, Giving birth to the first Adair grandson and the next generation was a proud moment for pops. In recent years we communicated by Skype and had loads of laughs. Brock was down to earth and what you saw is what you got, a wonderful man. My life journey has been richer having Brock in my life. Yasou my friend!!

Wish I had met you long before so I could have gotten to know you better. In the short few years I have met and married your son, I can see where he had gotten his generosity and kindness from. I know in my heart you are in a better place and reunited with your true love, your wife. You will be greatly missed. I love you dad, peace be with you. Sherry

Brock and I were close friends for 43 years. We were Air Force Communications Operators when we first met at 731 Communications Squadron, Shilo, in 1971.
Brock and I worked together in the Facility Control Centre and on the "mobile radio detachment". Brock was promoted to Master Corporal almost a year before me and actually became my "boss" for a while. He never let it affect our friendship and was an excellent NCO. As amateur radio operators we talked to each other bi-weekly for many years first using Morse Code and then voice after Brock obtained his "Advanced" licence. Brock was a talented videographer, woodworker, "Jack of all trades", "picture manipulator" and a true friend. I will really miss him.
73 old friend. .-.-.
