Obituary of Carleton "Carl" Dennison
Carleton (Carl) Thomas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the age of 82 years. Carl was born in Elton, MB on November 6, 1942 and raised in Cardale, MB. Carl leaves behind his son, Kelly (Michelle); daughter, Kandas (Kingsley Lee); his grandchildren, Brock (Stephanie), Brett, and Samantha (Devin Firth) Kathryn and Kaleb and great-grandchildren, Titan, Londyn and Frances. Carl was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Sylvia; mother, Patience and father, Wilfred.
Carl and Sylvia raised their family in Cardale and later in Brandon where he was very active in the community. Carl spent years racing snowmobiles and his love of sports led to his many years of playing hockey, coaching hockey, coaching baseball and golfing. Carl and Sylvia loved their time spent with the Molson Pioneer Hockey Team both playing and travelling.
Carl’s family would like to send a special thank you to Dinsdale Personal Care Home and their dad’s close friend Alex Campbell and all his friends for their love and support.
Carl’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date so that Carl’s final resting place can be with his wife Sylvia. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carl can be made to Kidsport Manitoba - West District.
