She was not only hard working, dependable and caring, she had a unique strength and common sense approach in the workplace. That strength was also evident in her family life. I will always remain grateful for Simone’s visits to my office at Central United Church. She offered words of encouragement in difficult times and always asked about our children and shared about hers. She made Doug his favourite cookies too. She loved her family and served her church. Deepest hugs to Bob, Jason, Dayna and your families. Hold tight your fond memories of your Mom/Grandma. Your Mom will be missed every day. She had the energy and ambition that we could only hope to have ourselves. Simone did love her cribbage and tile rummy and was hard to win games against her. Simone was a well read person .
