It is hard to wrap my head around Gord's sudden passing. I always told him he was my BFF and we had a truly wonderful friendship for many many years. I have spent a lot of time reflecting on all his incredible qualities and how much I am going to miss him! Gord was the absolute best, he was a faithful and caring friend, he loved to laugh, talk politics, football, hockey and golf. We could lose track of time talking about our families, friends, and whatever topic came up. This spring we visited the green houses and he was in his glory, happy and we just lost track of time, enjoying being out there with all the flowers. He was extremely caring and he would do anything for anyone. He had the biggest and kindest heart, a humble man, and just an incredible person. Gord always talked about his loves, his wife Kara-Lynne, and his girls (their cats), they were his whole life. He was a big gruff man, but he was seriously the biggest teddy bear you ever met.
We are going to miss his wonderful spirit, the Friday breakfast dates.
To his family and friends, Gord always spoke highly of all of you, may you find peace and comfort during this difficult time. My sincere and heartfelt condolences.
Rest in peace our beloved friend.
