I had the privilege to work with Deb at ACC. She was an amazing supervisor and a lovely lady. She helped me a lot when I moved to Canada. If I was homesick she had a word, a gesture to made me happy. Rest in peace darling. Until we meet again!

My deepest sympathy to Deb’s family! After I retired from ACC I worked with Deb in the cafeteria. Deb had a great work ethic and awesome sense of humour. Before coming to ACC Deb worked at Maple Leaf with my son Clay. They had a good friendship even though Clay scared the heck out of her by sneaking under the sides of pork hanging on the rails and grabbed Deb’s ankle. She laughed telling me the story. Rest in Peace Deb, we love and miss you.

I am so sad of the passing of Debbie, she was so special to me. She was my bridesmaid when I got married, and we had a spiritual connection. I picked her up in the morning and got her to work, her and me and Kim had a lot of laughs. Rest in peace my friend, I love you and my deepest sympathy to John and Brooke and family.

I am so sorry to learn of Deb's passing. I worked at ACC when she managed the cafeteria and she was such an easy-going, pleasant person to work with. Always a professional, she was well-respected in her role but she was also such a warm and wonderful lady. My condolences to her family and friends.

She was loved by all her staff, the students and staff at ACC and anyone who had the privilege of saying I Knew Deb . Debbie and I met when we were 8 years old when her family moved to Brandon and Debbie ended up in my class at school. That’s all it took, with Debbie’s outgoing personality we were best friends from day 1.
Our friendship has lasted 60 years and was full of love and laughter. Always the laughter ! We grew up together, each of us having families living in different provinces changed nothing. We were supposed to grow old and live in a nursing home together. Being silly as usual. The Duo, Debbie and Little Mair as she always called me. Popping wheelies in our wheelchairs!
Debbie was a kind, loving, generous, true friend always there for anyone who needed her.
I will miss Debbie terribly and she will always be in my heart.
Love you always
Mary

I first knew Deb in junior high school, McLaren in Brandon. She lived on 11th street and I lived on 10th and College. I have fond memories of chumming with her. We lost touch until she started working at ACC and it was like no time had passed. She was the same Deb and I could tell that she was very talented in the profession she chose. My deepest sympathies to her family. RIP Deb ❤️

Deb and I worked together for many years. She was a truly caring person. She had a unique sense of humor and would readily admit to her limitations i.e. technology! She loved meeting new people and getting to know them. She would go out of her way to make everything right in any event we did. She was creative and used that creativity to make all events better. We had our ups and downs but what spoke to me was the number of former employees who came to her retirement party at ACC. If she had not been well thought of, these people would not have returned to say goodbye to her. When I embarked on a new journey, she was there to offer encouragement and support and was one of the first to tell me how proud she was of me. She will be missed. Watch over us all Deb.
