Obituary of Bernie Kasprick
The family of Bernard Joseph Kasprick, are saddened to announce his passing at Fairview Personal Care Home, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the age of 76 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Betty; children, Jeff (Jennifer), Danny and Michelle (Steve); six granddaughters: Britainy, Lindsay (Alex), Tayler (Kyle), Paige (Elliot), Faith and Jada and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie, Verla and Phyllis and brothers, Verne and Ken.
He was predeceased by his dad, Thomas in 1993; his mom, Victoria in 1999 and his sister Bernice in 2004; as well as brothers-in-law, Charlie, Eugene, Steve and Victor and sisters-in-law Faye and Sharon.
Bernard was the youngest of his siblings and moved to Brandon in 1961 with his Mom and Dad and became a welder. He loved to watch his sons play hockey and go to all their games and his daughter’s figure skating. He loved camping and fishing! He also loved to watch his granddaughters laugh and smile.
A Celebration of Bernie’s Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bernie may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation “Dialysis Unit”, 150 McTavish Ave E., Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3 as Bernard battled kidney disease for many years.
