It's so interesting as a kid. I always felt Comet was my horse, waiting for Barry and Into arrive for our summer holidays. NOPE, to my surprise, Comet would take me to Yvonne and Joanne's down the back lane, so easy. Trying to go back to Grandpa's was all together a different matter. Comet loved Yvonne and would even pick up his pace entering her laneway. Comet would liner at Yvonne's touch. What a bond. I was jealous.
