SOKOLOWSKI: It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Barbara Merle Sokolowski (Edwards) on September 9, 2022 at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her parents, husband John, son Michael, brother Donald, and grandson Keith. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Catherine (Robert), Alice (Michael) and Patricia, sons John (Mariam) and Raymond (Denise) as well as grandchildren Jeffrey, Christopher, Michael, Zachary, Mark, Amber-Lee, Jordan, David (DJ), Sara, Ashley, Desiree, Kyle and Tiffany. Also left to mourn are her numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Barbara had a passion for cooking, and worked in many restaurants as well as doing respite work. She loved to travel, play cards and drink coffee with friends. Thanks to all who took time to care for her in the recent months when life became difficult. Rest in peace, you will be forever loved by family and friends. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
