She is survived by brother, Roy (Shirley) Smysniuk; sister-in-law, Pauline Smysniuk; daughter, Wilmarie (Richard) Knudson; sons, Don Kalyniuk (Kathy Rawluk), Bill (April) Kalyniuk; daughter in-law, Arlene Kalyniuk; grandchildren: Philip (Elizabeth) Knudson, Michael Knudson, Lisa (Vince) Galati, Grant McGorman, Cassandra Kalyniuk and Emily (Gerald) Harder; great-grandchildren: Saige, Cash, and Nolan McGorman, and Jayden and Grady Galati. She will also be remembered by her many nephews and nieces, including Boobin Smysniuk, who would drop in and visit her in Carberry. Mom was active with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church women's groups in Winnipeg and later in Ituna when she moved there. She took a lot of pride in her flower gardens and loved to cook, bake, knit and build jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed having her grandchildren visit her in Ituna where they loved raiding the raspberry bushes and enjoying her baked goods. Many thanks to the staff at Carberry Personal Care Home where she spent her later years and passed away.
