August 16, 1977 - June 29, 2022
Marlon leaves behind his mother, Glenys Elk; sisters, Marsha and Melissa Hotain, Jamie Morgan; daughter, Raina; granddaughter ,Peyton; sons Dreyson and Justin;Aunts, Elona, Sherry, and Nicole Chaske and uncle, Troy Chaske.
Special mention to his adopted brothers, Andrew Morrisseau, Steven Thibert, and adopted dad, Clarence Moar and family.
And numerous friends and extended family members
He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Morgan; daughter, Celina; grandparents, Wilbert Elk and Dorothy Elk (Pratt); special uncle Rick Elk, Edward Hotain, Barry Elk; aunty, Yvonne Blackhawk and adopted grandfather, Albert Taylor.
A Traditional Wake will be held at House #2231, first left past the Dakota Oyate Lodge, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Pratt Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tremain Hotain, Troy Hotain, Scott Hotain, Austin Jetty, Brett Hotain, and Terry Demas. Honourary pallbearers are all his bros and good friends.
