Obituary of Marti Hotain

HOTAIN: Marti Rose.

It is with great sadness that the family of Marti Rose of Sioux Valley Dakota Nation announce her untimely passing at the age of 43 years.

Marti Rose will be lovingly remembered by her beautiful daughter, Elle-Rose; siblings: Trudy (Oswald), Michelle (Hawk), Harlene (Hugh), Sonny (Pauline), Monte, Brett (Jessica) and numerous aunts, uncles, Unkan, Kunshi, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, “Sisters” and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Emily Hotain; siblings: Lance Blacksmith, Crystal Elk, Tyson Hotain; son, Seth Hotain and daughter, Rosie.

A Funeral Service will be at the Sioux Valley Veteran’s Hall on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Traditional Service to follow. Interment will follow at the Elk Family Cemetery.

The Family wishes to send their special thank you to everyone for all their prayers and continuous support during this difficult time.

When I come to the end of the road
