Obituary of Melvin Cairns
CAIRNS: Melvin (Mel) John Cairns passed away with family by his side, after a lengthy stay at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 80 years. Mel was predeceased by his wife, Linda; son, Richard; parents, James and Gladys and brother, Harvey. Mel will be lovingly remembered by his children: Sherie Balaban (Peter) and Leanne Williamson (Chad); grandchildren: Kayla, Brittanee, Tyler, Tierra (Eric), Lyndsay (David) and Nicholas Carins and twin sister Mavis Allum (Cecil). A Celebration of Mel’s Life and Interment at the Oak Lake Cemetery will be held at a later date.
