I would like to thank all the family and friends who honored my father's memory at his funeral, and also those who thought of him, but could not attend. My special thanks go to Rev. Milo Spooner Craig, to the congregation of Central United Church, to Brockie Donovan Funeral Services, as well as to Eulogist Dr. Jack Loughton. It takes a lot of love to make a tribute from a memorial service, and thanks to all of you, that was what happened. Ill health and geographical distance (I live overseas, in France) did not allow me to be present at Dad's funeral, but thanks to the live stream of the service, I was able to "be there" afterwards. As I wrote to my sister, Rhonda (Gruetzner), no homage to Dad could have been more fitting than the one you all created together. Once again, many thanks. Dunc was truly one of the good guys! He helped a lot of people along the way! Always ready to chat and help he was in a lot of ways a mentor to me. When we bought the Colonial Inn and Redwood inns Dunc was a great help in keeping us on track! Mona and I will really miss our visits with Dunc. RIP coach!
