I am very saddened to hear of the passing of my oldest best friend and brother. I was lucky, over 40 years ago to meet such an up standing man and such a great family that helped shape my future. We went to trade school in 1980 where we met and always managed to keep in touch after we went about our life’s journey. We had many adventures and good times together. He was honest, caring and strong willed. He always dreamed about farming and having that life style but couldn’t seem to get a break. We shared many conversations over the years, which he was very proud of his daughter and his grandchildren and always informed me of how the family was doing as well. No matter what was going on, he took life in stride which I envied and some times, hard to believe. For that I also respected him for being Ron. I will deeply miss Ron for his loyalty, values, understandings, his honesty and pride. I will miss our conversations and most off all The laughs! Glen Schiltroth
