Tyler was more than a coworker, we all considered him a friend. We watched him grow from an eager young apprentice to a red seal plumber, capable of handling the rigors of commercial construction. He did things the right way by showing up early, working hard and keeping a positive attitude. My wife Laural and i were fortunate to know him outside work. He was a frequent player in our poker games and made friends in our circle easily, as he did everywhere he went. The world is darker without his happy presence but we are all brighter for having known him.

Okay here goes.
So we weren’t close but we were apart of the same drinking group of a crazy few !
I met him through Stephanie MacDonald and I thought he was so tall - so it was intimidating as I’m 5’7 haha
Most of all; he was funny sarcastic and the nicest person I met
This one night we were drinking at the roadhouse we started getting cravings for fast food so typically we take off to micky dees
Walking down 18th street, crossed the road and we were walking on queens ave when Tyler looks up at the advertising sign for a&w
I recall it read “2 teen burgers only $7”
Tyler; being a tall individual deemed it necessary to change the sign which read “2 teen orgys $7”
I laughed so hard I was crying and I took a picture of it - however I don’t have that phone anymore so I’m bummed out.
We spent a few hours in the hospital another time while one of his friends was getting his hand stitched after trying to hop the fence at the keystone centre and slicing his hand open. Yikes.
He was definitely a good guy, besides the bar nights I don’t know him as well as others but I was pleased to have been an acquaintance!
My deepest condolences to his entire family, friends, his wife Karleigh and their son. He will be missed for sure
