As we grieve for our Sister, Mother, Grandmother, loving partner and friend she leaves us with many memories, moments and laughter that we will cherish forever. One of my special memories was a trip that brought the five of us Sisters together at my house for a trip that was supposed to be only the weekend. But Manitoba being what it was, we ended up with a huge snow storm in May that shut down the highways for nearly a week. Those days that Daphne, Violet, Ruth, Ann and I spent together along with our other trips were a gift. Those memories remind me of who Violet was; a gentle, kind, caring, humble and loving person. Her family was her world. May your cherished memories and the love she had for you all help you through these very sad times.
