Trish and I were saddened to hear of Eldon's passing. He and I worked together at Western Grocers in the mid 80's and I certainly learned a lot from him about life in the grocery business, and we shared a few adventures and many laughs over those years. The kids fondly recall going to his garage on Noonan for soft serve ice-cream. It was always a pleasure running into Eldon around town and catching up and reminiscing.
