BAKER: Gauge Jacob Robert Baker

On October 21st, 2020, our beloved son, Gauge, tragically and suddenly passed away at the young age of 18 years. Gauge leaves to mourn his daughter, Zaya Jane; his partner, Joelene; his mother, Patches; his stepfather, Rob; his father, Conrad and his brother, Logan; his sister-in-law, Jessica; his only niece, Karys; as well as many numerous friends and family.Gauge is predeceased by his loving grandparents, Jane Morrisseau and Robert Pringle Shinske; Grandma Joyce Baker and Papa Elmer Kentel.

Gauge was born in Brandon, Manitoba on March 18th, 2002 to parents, Patches Morrisseau-Pearson and father, Conrad Baker. He attended Crocus High School. On September 25th, 2018, he welcomed his only daughter, Zaya into the world. She was his pride and joy. He was a loving Grandson, Son, Father, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Friend.

Gauge was the most kind-hearted person you would’ve had the privilege of knowing. He was a sweet, gentle soul, who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always there when you needed a listening ear, or just a shoulder to cry on. Gauge dedicated himself to being a great father to his daughter, Zaya Jane Svea Baker. Gauge loved to go to the skatepark, go to the mall with friends, he was musically inclined and he loved all genres.
