My condolences to Uncle Leo's girls in their loss. I met his first daughter when we all lived in Edmonton.
I know your Dad loved you and how excited he was when you were born. May your pain be eased somewhat in knowing you were loved and some of us remember him holding you and his smile was a smile of love.
Love Shelley

Dear Debbie,
My deepest condolences to you in the loss of your Loving partner Uncle Leo, as we called him when we were kids. I remember having so much fun with him and he was like having an Uncle Buck as a baby sitter. How many people get to have an Uncle buck like babysitter. I always loved him and often asked about him. I know he found happiness with you and may your heart be comforted in knowing how much you gave to each other. He will always be with you and all of us. Hold on to all the memories as you go through your grief.
Love Shelley Hannigan

Debbie,
I am very sorry to hear about your mate. Although he was my Mom's cousin, I new him as "Uncle Leo", and have very fond memories of him. In the seventies my Mom and Dad went on a holiday and Uncle Leo baby sat us for about 10 days.
There were four of us kids and we put him through the paces. We had him stressed to the max, but he did a great job.
I spoke with him from time to time, the last time was this past July.
I believe as a younger man, he was often misunderstood, but I know he found happiness with you in Brandon.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dale Hannigan (Fort McMurray, AB)

Debbie, we are so sorry to hear of Leo's passing. We so enjoyed our visits when we were travelling to and from the west. We were so encouraged to see how you cared for each other. The Holy Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Leo's soul. Be assured that Leo is now with the Lord and that he as well as all of us will keep you in our prayers.
