My deepest heartfelt sympathies to Margaret and family. Errol was a friend of the family and I was so fortunate to have seen him this summer at my dad's 80th birthday party. When I conversed with him, he was so full of life and witty... I didn't want the conversation to end. Errol was a special man who fought tirelessly for social causes and was compassionate, caring, warm, and sincere. He will be sadly missed by our family. Thoughts and prayers to the family

To Margaret and family:
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Errol will be truly missed by the entire community. Brandon, and indeed our entire country are so much richer as a result of the time we had with him. His focus on fairness for all, with an eye for making this world a better place for everyone through his insightfulness and pit-bull tenacity, has been an inspiration to us all. Yes, he was a thorn in the flesh for many and it is unfortunate that there weren't more thorns besides his. Imagine how much more progressive legislation would be in place to make our city, province and country that much better and a more just and fair place for everyone.
Errol has indeed been a beacon and an inspiration for all who work towards a better world. Although he is no longer with us, that beacon will continue to shine brightly. We have all been blessed by his time among us.
Thank you and bless you Margaret. We recognize the solid love and support he received from you. He will always be our beacon and one of our heroes.
With sympathy
Arnold & Marilyn Grambo

Errol, what a guy. What a man. Back in the early 60s he taught us in word and deed that there were differences; in people and opinions. We argued; often with intensity always with humour and respect. Then a beer.
I learned a lot from Errol. My condolences to Margaret, family and friends.

My conolences to the family. Errol was an incredibly intelligent;engaging;and wonderful person to be around. There were few people I enjoyed having a beer and scintillating conversation with more than Errol---he always had an interesting and intriguing perspective on any topic. His contribution to BU and the city of Brandon were invaluable.

Shed a few tears this morning when I had to stop myself from sending the newspaper articles to Errol. So glad I was able to make it to the CCPA brunch last week to hear him honoured one last time. He truly touched everyone who knew him.
