Obituary of Louise Beattie Smith

SMITH: It is with sadness the family of Louise Beattie Smith announce her passing on July 29, 2012. Louise was predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon in 1994. She is survived by sons Gordon (Gwen) and their children Christopher Smith, Jennifer (Scott) Neilsen, Colby (Lana) Smith and Jillian Smith. Son Graham (Judy) and their children Ann Marie (Brian) Barnes, Jason Keating. Great Grandchildren Marissa and Peyton Neilsen, Brynne and Anaya Smith, Justin and Jordan Barnes, Mattea Gauthier Keating and Great Great Grandson Dominic Barnes, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's United Church, Indian Head, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Louise may be made to Sokol Supportive Housing, 30-13th Street North, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 6T1. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Maier and the staff at the Assiniboine Centre, Brandon, Manitoba for their care, compassion, and kindness at the time of Louise's passing. A special thank-you to the staff at Sokol Supportive Housing for the wonderful care given to our Mother.
