Vivian and I were first cousins, childhood neighbours and youngest of both families while attending the same country school. Many good memories of her attached to those precious times.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Bicknell family at this time of Vivianne's death. I last saw her at Pat O'Sullivan's funeral, and she was her vibrant and gracious self. So word of her death came as quite a shock.
Please know that all the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions in Canada have been alerted to Vivianne's death, and we all join you in thanking God for the gift of her life.
We also pray for your family as you learn to live without her earthly presence. May you draw strength and comfort from your memories of her, and from all that she was to you during her time on earth. And may the companioning of family and friends near and far be a source of solace for each of you.

Hello to the Bicknell Family. I was deeply saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. I just recently ran into her and Mr. Bicknell at Walmart and had a lovely chat with her. She was such a beautiful person and I looked up to her so much as a child. Such a beautiful and kind lady and always so very very nice to me. She made me feel very special when i was a kid and I thought if I could pick anyone to be like it would be her! She was one of the few adults I knew who would speak to me like an adult and I felt so grown up being around her. I had so many fun times at your home hanging out in your family room (watching the Partridge Family), and at Clear Lake, and skiing (where was that?), perhaps at Agassiz? I LOVED that time in my life and have nothing but fond memories. I can't imagine what you are all feeling right now. Hugs : )

Dear Ken, It has been many long years since Vivianne and I were together at a farm sale near our homes in Ste. Rose. Vivianne was always a favourite of mine way back when we were children and again later on when one New Year's Eve we spent the night together at my brother's house---she missing the one she loved and who was far away----you, Ken and I bemoaning the fact that I had no one at the time to miss! Oh, and so many, many more times. On our way home after Jean Marie's funeral in Ste. Rose, Vivianne invited us to lunch in your beautiful home. She was such an artist in so many ways, I will remember that meal but especially her compassionate and loving self. I am sorry for you, Ken, as these times are extremely difficult. I will think of her and pray for you all, especially tomorrow at her last Mass. I too, am sorry. May God and His angels surround you and your children and grandchildren. You and Vivianne together have made the world a better place. God bless you.
