Obituary of Dr. Ernestine "Tina" Dawn Wasicuna

WASICUNA: Dr. Ernestine Dawn M.D. - Wicankpe To Win (Blue Star Woman) February 2, 1970 – August 27, 2011. Ernestine (Tina) Wasicuna passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Winnipeg General Hospital, Health Sciences Centre, lovingly surrounded by her family. Left to mourn her passing are her beloved husband Jeff Courchene, son Jacob, mother Judy Wasicuna, brother James Pratt, sisters Kristi Baker (Ed), Danette Wasicuna and many friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her father Ernest Raymond Wasicuna, grandparents Phillip and Cora Wasicuna, Hilda Pratt and Daniel Wombdiska. A Traditional Wake will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at the Sioux Valley Veteran's Memorial Hall. Funeral Service will be held on August 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Tina will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.
