Obituary of Gary Earle Ford

FORD: Gary Ford - May 6, 1958 to August 26, 2011. On Friday, August 26, 2011, Gary passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, from his year long struggle with cancer. Gary was born and raised in Port Aux Basques, NFLD and was one of twelve children. At a young age, Gary joined the Canadian Armed Forces and this took him to several countries around the world. He made Shilo, MB his last posting; retiring and then joining the staff of the Shilo Country Club. Gary will be missed by so many people whose lives he has touched over the years. He was a great guy that would lend a helping hand to whoever needed it. Rest easy Gary.....you will never be forgotten. In keeping with Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be returned to his family in NFLD, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8, would be a great tribute.
