I wish to express my sympathy on the passing of Mrs. Cutforth. I was a student at Elton Collegiate and this wonderful lady could make poetry come alive. I have many memories of this kind woman.

It was with sadness that I read in today's Brandon Sun the news of Ruth Cutforth's death. While I did knot know all the family, I was in the '70s a piano teacher for Brian, and had contact with him and others of the family beyond that time. Mrs Cutforth was a fine teacher for many years, a lady of energy and intelligence, and a concerned member of the community. Condolences to the family. I plan to be at the funeral.

To Ruth Cutforth's family,
I want to give you my condolences on the passing of your Mom. I lost track of her when she moved from her home, but she used to come out and pick chokecherries here each summer (near Grand Valley Road) and we'd have good visits on the phone.
I'm sure she was well taken care of at the Richmond Hospital, my sister and her husband used to live there and used that hospital often.
May God bless and be with each of you as you recall the good memories you have of your Mom.
Sincerely, Barbara Holmes
