Obituary of Raymond "Dale" Brown

BROWN: Following a lengthy illness and long hospitalization, Raymond Dale Brown passed away at the Assiniboine Hospital on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Dale was born in Brandon, Manitoba on August 30, 1962. He attended George Fitton, McLaren and Harrison High Schools. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour, kindness, and love for his family. Dale was a very gentle, unassuming and giving person. He was very proud of his children's accomplishments and talked of them often. He loved fishing and was a great Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan. Dale was predeceased by his father, James Owen Brown and will be sadly missed by his children, Geoffrey and Corinna of Calgary, Alberta. He also leaves to mourn his mother, Audrey Brown; brothers Jim (Del), Ron (Kathy), Doug(Darcy), Larry (Jane) and his sisters; Judy Latcham (Bob), Joan Leathem (Bill), Nancy Nickle (Pat) and Debbie, plus his many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday,May 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brandon Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 727B-10th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4G7.
