Obituary of Ryan Christopher Land

LAND: Peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2010, Ryan Christopher Land passed away at his home, with family by his side, at the age of 52 years. Ryan was predeceased by his grandma Margaret McNevan, father-in-law Lawrence Skeavington, brothers-in-law Albert Skeavington, Bob McFarlane and Doug Skeavington. Ryan will be lovingly remembered by his wife Diane of Brandon, his children Jeremy (Erika), Courtney (Tim), Joel (Chatelaine) and Leeann. His memory will be cherished forever by his grandchildren Tierra, Jessica, Destiny, Teighan and Mason. Also surviving are his mother Yvonne (Angus), brothers Terry (Sheila), David (Karen), Joel (Tammy) and his dad, Bob. Mother-in-law Hazel, sisters-in-law Jean, Margaret, Elizabeth, Ruth (Alex) and Rose, brothers-in-law Murray (Joann), Bill, Jason (Marie) and several nieces and nephews. Ryan enjoyed his place of employment and many things in life, but his grandchildren were his main focus. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332-8th Street, on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. with Rachelle Wilk officiating. A reception will follow at the Ukrainian Reading Hall, 1005 Assiniboine Avenue. Donations in memory of Ryan may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8.
