Dear Ena, Mary Ann and family:
My sincere condolences with the passing of your mom "COBY". Wow what an age she reached with a heart of gold.
It was a pleasure to have met her and your family when I came to Canada myself in 1968 and worked with Coby at the Flying Dutchman Kitchens bakery of my uncle.
She and your dad always welcomed me at their place for coffee and allowed me to go rabbit hunting in the back bush.
Ja, the door always stood open. And now the door of heaven opened up for her where she will have a special place.
Tot ziens Coby. Till we meet again. Hubert Perey

My mother's (Mary Luten) best friend and neighbour for many years when they both lived at Boreham Park Apartments in Brandon. I remember Coby and mum playing dominoes in the evening, having trips to the casino together, sharing recipes, crossstitch patterns and stories of their of their earlier life. She was always loving and cheerful and will be missed by all she knew. Rest peacefully Coby.

It's been a long time since I've seen Coby. I first met her and John when I was a young boy living in Boissevain next to Abe and Freida Fast. Many years later I met her at Sally's Bakery. I had purchased the bakery in Boissevain and Rudy Was my mentor. Oh! I just remembered that John and Coby purchased a Nash car from my father and mother.
