Our sympathies to the Schamp families. I didn't know Roger but it sounds like he enjoyed life. We appreciated the Mass video. My grandmother was Irene (Schamp) Wood and my father was Albert Wood FYI.

What can be said of uncle Roger. He was a man who I remember leaning back on his chair when you went to visit grandma and grandpa's. He would always inquire about what was happening in your life and what was new in Winnipeg. I remember his love of hockey and with his move to Brandon the Brandon Wheat Kings had a loyal fan. He was very much a little brother to my mom Annie and a man that lived life on his terms.

From Belgium we offer our Christian condolences on the death of our Canadian family member. We have wonderful memories of Roger when we were in Canada or when he visited us in Belgium in 1988. Rest in peace.
