To Sheldon & Carl - so sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. I knew her years ago when she and Ken would come to Fort La Bosse functions and I was there as the admin. assistant in the division office. I so enjoyed both her and Ken. They livened up any 'party' with their jokes and stories and they were always just great fun to be around.
I remember Ken telling the story many times of Eleanor coming home from teaching at Oak Lake School and how he would hear the car drive up but she wasn't coming in the house. He would look out and see Eleanor asleep in the car. This was of course during the later years of her teaching career.
Eleanor had me type up her Christmas letter for quite a number of years 'back in the day' (she always paid me for this) - it was always interesting to read and she could certainly fill a page with her beautiful handwriting!
Eleanor was always so proud of her sons and grandchildren - you were lucky to have her for a mom and grandmother and I know you will many wonderful memories of her.

Mrs. Seafoot taught me at the Oak Lake Elementary School; she was a wonderful teacher. I remember one field trip we took to Virden and she took us to her place for ice cream cups. My condolences to the family.
