My heartfelt condolences to Betty and family at the loss of George. I have many treasured memories of a long friendship with George, Betty and family, and we shared so many wonderful, fun-filled times together over more than 50 years. I was privileged to work with George for many years at BGH/BRHC and he was well- respected, appreciated and well-known for his quick wit and joy for life. He was always available to help wherever and by whomever he was needed. I am very saddened that he has left us, but know that he struggled for many years with Alzheimer's and is at peace. My thoughts and prayers are with Betty and the boys and their families as they deal with the loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a friend of mine and countless others.
Love, Hilary

Our deepest sympathies and condolences goes out to Betty, Geoff, Scott, Darren and families.
Having worked and played side by side with George for so many years words cannot express all the feelings.
George was a faithful, reliable and steady co-worker who always brought a smile to everyone he encountered no matter the circumstances.
He took great pride in his family and continuously shared the many accomplishments of Betty and the boys.
George always had everyone's back and stood steadfast behind his employees with pride.
I looked up to George for all his talents and experience and enjoyed many hours listening to him sing and play in the band and all the jokes he shared. A party was never dull with George around with his guitar, singing and joke telling.
It was an honour to know and work closely with George, he will be deeply missed and his memory will live on forever.
REST IN PEACE YERKO
Love Gerald and Shawna
