Many fond memories of my Pipe Major, Kenneth Creighton, back in the the 70's and early 80's when I was a member of the 26th Field Regiment Pipeband before I moved away from Brandon. He was one person that I had the deepest respect for as he was so kind to me at all times. I, and others banged the drums and Ken and others hammered the pipes which worked well! Sorry, Kevin and family for your loss. He was a great man who had a big influence on my life.

Our sympathy to you, Kevin and all your family. We have many great memories of your dad at Village Green. Last time we visited, I'm not sure he knew me, but as soon as he saw Elwood, he wondered how the pool room was going and who was playing! Yesterday as I announced his death at Tues morn coffee, many remembered him looking after the shuffle board, fixing things for us and especially playing the chanter at our Remembrance Day services. He so appreciated your visits and I know you made many trips out to look after him.
He was a real gentleman and will be missed by so many.
Our sympathy to you on your loss.
Elwood and Donna Myers.

Dear Kevin and family -our first thoughts are of the many happy memories of your Dad, your family and lots of childhood times together. I especially remember the Pipe band times, the parades, and the band bus trips that my parents enjoyed with yours. Blair of course was in and out of your house all his childhood, and counted your family as second to his own. Running in to your house - "Mrs. Creighton - he's done it again" when you broke bones and had many scrapes and accidents.
Your Dad had a long and productive life. He was an excellent piper, hard worker and good golfer. I hope the memories you and the boys have of him help you remember all the good times, and sustain you now in your loss. Please know we are thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Liz & Blair McLeod
