I'll always remember Stan. He was a very special friend to me that delivered daily laughs during his morning visits at Monte Vista resort in Mesa Arizona. We enjoyed many "happy hours" and trips to the casinos with Stan and Sharon and the mesa gang and we will all miss his infectious smile and warm heart.

We were very saddened to hear of Stan'spassing, a really wonderful man who always had time to talk with you. We miss both his Victoria Avenue and First street stores that were always a nice place to shop at and Stan and his staff were always so nice. As well the memories we have from Ditch Lake. Rest easy Stan, you will be missed.

Sharon, Marlee, Kristin, my condolences at this difficult time. Like so many others, I have fond memories of working for Stan at the store. His business was a success as a direct result of him - customers knew that Stan did things properly and that he trained his staff to behave the same way.

To Sharon,Marlee Kristen and Families
How sorry we are to hear of Stan's passing and how blessed we are that he was part of our lives. What a kind, caring generous person he was. I started working for Stan when I was 13. I worked for him for 8 years. Stan taught all of us what real customer service was. He worked hard, and always had a smile for anyone that came in. I am so grateful to have had Stan in my life starting at a very young age. He was so kind and generous to my Mom, sister and myself. He was a huge influence on me and so many others that were privileged to have learned from him working at Stan's. He installed hard work ethic and responsibility into all of us youngsters. He took us all under his wing and taught us all so much! Sharon, Marlee & Kristen, my heart goes out to you all. Sharon and family. We have not met but I assisted Stan with some of his financing years ago when I was Manager at RBC 1st and McTavish. Banking back then was based on trust and Stan was a man I trusted. We has many discussions as to how things were progressing and while not all were positive, he was always straight up with me. I believed him to be a man of his convictions who always showed his "customer first" focus.
You will miss him greatly but please be comforted by the many favorable comment I and many others have posted. Many like me have nothing but positive thoughts of our contact with him.
