Grete was a loving, caring sister who was soft spoken , thoughtful and always looked on the bright side of things. I will miss our weekly phone calls - we had so many cherished memories of yesteryear.
My sister loved her curling and knew all the team players.
Grete we love you and you will be sadly missed
Love you and God Bless
Carol, Tony and family

In the 1940's there was this young boy who knew only his first name and knew Mom as only Mom and Dad as only Dad. The boy was at the Brandon Fair with his family and got lost. Authorities asked the young boy who washes your face and he said "Grete". They paged "Grete" and the family was reunited. Hence the name "Grete" stuck with Marguerite for the rest of her life.
There was nothing but kindness and love in the words from Grete.
I was that Boy. Forever loved, Brother Wayne

'THAT SOMETHING SPECIAL" Grete you had that something special, and you meant the world to me, You had that special something that one very rarely see's. A WARMTH and HONEST caring, that draws loved ones close to you. Some people are so special that whenever their around they make us feel the love and the world is a better place. My last conversation with my sister, she said I had a dream last night I dreamt I was WALKING and she laughed not only that, I was on my bike too and her big beautiful eye's just lite up. I said that was a special dream like you. When we went to say good bye she said I know you like to be called Tricia so I love you Tricia and I said I love you Greta and we both laughed AGAIN GRETA WAS A PET NAME I HAD FOR HER. Now Grete I have a vision of you dancing and frolicking in the rainbow colored flowers Dancing with your one and only love Rod and I also see you biking by the river on all those golden paths in heaven going to see the rest of our loved ones. no hurt, no pain, no fear. RIP Always loved always missed you were my rock sister.

I am sure gonna miss popping into Marguerite's room for our sports talks. We always enjoyed fixing the problems of the world in 5 minutes or less we would say. We could not have enough Trump discussions but at least we agreed on that subject! One fine lady is what heaven has gained! She will be missed.
