Dear Joanie,
I was away when Chuck died or I would certainly have been there for his funeral. I considered him to be a friend more than my lawyer and he helped me through the darkest part of my life.

My wife Karen and I are devastated at the news of Chuck's passing. Being a former partner of his, I often find myself thinking of Chuck. He was a brilliant lawyer and a calming presence for us younger members. His personality sparkled with wit, and he loved a good laugh.
