I never met Edith, but I did have a long telephone conversation with her a few years ago. She was a delight. Her husband, Swede (Alvin) was the older brother of my father, Ed Hendricks. I met Swede only once or twice, but Edith spoke so highly of him that I was proud to be his niece. I wish I had met Edith and known her as part of our small family.
