In Neepawa Safeway, I always appreciated Karen. She was always helpful and very knowlegeable. She was a manager that you would find at the register, in produce, in deli etc assuming the roles of her staff. This is what made Karen a wonderful understanding manager. Rest In Peace Karen we will miss you! Liz Sumner, Safeway customer.

I had the pleasure to work many years with Karen at Safeway in Brandon. My husband and I also stopped in to say hi, when she worked at the Winnipeg Safeway. Also on our walks, we would pass by their home (in Brandon), and usually visit with Karen, Bill and Never for a short bit. So very sorry to hear of her passing, she will be missed dearly! Karen was the first boss to give me a job at Safeway in Neepawa after my mom passed away in 2012.Her and I always enjoyed a good laugh or teasing on another. She always called me Hollywood cause of my sunglasses. I will miss her terribly miss not visiting her after I left Safeway I remember her being sad that I was leaving cause she always said I was so good with customers. I will miss her laugh, her kindness. Rest in Peace my Karen Hollywood misses you!!! Nyree Doell Neepawa Manitoba
