Here's a Mom, Grandmother ,Great Grandmother and Aunt that we will all miss.
During the past 60 plus years that I had the privilege to know her . When we where around all of her brothers and sisters at any family function it was like the troops have invader for fun War all the cousin would gather and the parents would do the same . We would maneuver around them then they would tell us to be nice it was usually Iris tell the parents that we where just kids playing .When my wife and I meet it wasn't to long after that we had more things in common ,on day we gave Iris a ride home and she was talking about her best friend Theresa and found out that it my wife aunt . With that in mind it was like we said to each other that we will have to spend more time with them and it was always a blast sometimes it was so funny that even though they lived in the same apartment block and different suits they seemed like a married couple have a quick tiff then they would make up . When we did she always talked about her family (all good things ) we all laugh as we all told stories about our lives. In the passed couple of years we made it a point to take her out to see the Christmas lights after her what we thought was her favorite Wal Lees driving around Brandon .A couple years ago I had invited Iris was the first to arrive for a surprise 60th Birthday party she arrived with a bouquet of Roses ,Heather came out after having a shower and in her pajamas .When they both looked at each other I don't know which one was more surprised .In the earlier years I can not say just how great full that Her sister my mom had a very close relationship because Iris always helped her out .
Heather and I are deeply sorry for the loss of a valued life and family member , but there is a bright side to her journey at the end .
She has said many times that she will going to her greatest love of her live Jim her husband the one she missed for so long .
This is a very short story of my Aunt- a nephew that will always miss and love you as many that spent time with .
Again to all my Auntie family from Blair Nordquist and my wife Heather Clark our we are sincerely sorry for the loss of a GREAT LADY

We are all so sad to hear of auntie Iris's passing. She was like a second mom to me. How Danny and I enjoyed the visits at the farm and the time we spent with auntie and uncle. We wish we were there to celebrate her life with you all...I especially enjoyed my time on the casino trips with her. We will truly miss her smile and loving heart. She never missed Danny and my birthday. I know she is now our guardian angel watching over all of us. Auntie will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. You are now flying with the angels......Love you forever! Thanks for the happiness you gave us.:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::sleepy::sleepy::sleepy::sleepy::sleepy::sleepy:

Our family was so saddened to hear about the passing of our very dear Aunty Iris and Sister in Law to Mom. Big hugs to your all, we understand this difficult journey! We have shared so many wonderful family times together over the years, especially in our younger years when we would meet up with Aunty Iris and Uncle Jim in Saskatchewan for our annual summer family vacation. Aunty was such a happy and loving person and we adored her sense of humor and her warm smile. Goodbye Aunty, you may have left our life... but you will never leave our hearts xoxo All our love, Darlene Anstett, Karen (Craig), Dianne (Dwight), Dale (Maria), Cathy, Garry (Denise).
