Quite a coincidence that I read of Wayne's passing! Our condolences to what sounds like a very loving family. Knew Wayne in early 1960's when he worked summers for Whitfield's, loved Clear Lake Dance Land, and dances at Riverside, etc.. Kind gentleman! Blessings to all! Don and I are so very sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. What a hard time for you all! I still have a freeze frame memory of seeing you two, the year you bought your cottage. We were so very sorry to hear the news of Wayne's passing. He was a good friend and neighbor, and we will miss him and his wonderful smile. We will always remember how he took such pleasure in things that are often overlooked; like the daisies that come up faithfully each year in his cottage yard, how a sunset can be appreciated differently when you view it from a lawn chair on the deck or on the beach, sitting by a bonfire with his grandchildren eating marshmallows, or just quietly enjoying the company of a good book. We will think of Wayne often and are so glad we had the chance to know him.
All our thoughts are with Gilda, Bryce, Heidi, Andrea and the grandkids. He loved you all very much.
