Murray always had a smile on his face and will be missed, he once came up to our farm and asked me if I would take a baby colt whose mother had given birth and died an hour later. He knew we had dairy cows and thought we could give it the milk but it takes more to raise a colt than cows milk.I of course said yes and up comes Murray with this tiny colt in the cab of his pick up truck. With a lot of advice from Ross Mckague, the horse vet, the colt grew into a strapping youngster. He always welcomed you in with a cup of coffee and a friendly chat and a genuine warmth. Happy trails Murray. Jean

One of Dad's passions was his horses. Big Red on the left was one of his favorites. Red had a special connection with Dad.

Attended high school with Murray when he moved from Belmont to Brandon. Murray & I got off to a good start right from the beginning and remained friends right to his passing. He made his presence felt the moment he entered a room. He was full of laughter and enjoyed everything he did in life. Trucking was a big part of his life but even bigger was his love of family. All I can say is Murray was clean living and honest as the day is long. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Murray, you deserved more. Rest in Peace.
