I am saddened and shocked by the sad news of Al's sudden passing. He always had a story or comment about when he was friends as a young man with my brother which always made me laugh! My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends.

So sad to hear of Al's passing. What a wonderful man he was. I had the fortune of spending time in a touring rock band with Big Al. I have a fond memory of Al and I in a big city, Sunday night off. We set off to see a movie. We decide on The Elephant Man. We left that movie crying our eyes out! Two men with big hair and crying like babies! We agreed ... only guy flicks from that time on for the two of us. Mr. "Big" Al McIntyre. A gentle man and a reliable fellow band mate. Rest well my friend.

We are so saddened to hear of Al's passing. We were looking for him at the opening Wheat King game. We always visited between periods for years at the games. He was a fountain of information and kept is in the loop! We shared much hockey history. We're very sorry he lost his battle. He sure put up a good fight. We will miss him and wish we could have had a visit this year. Our deepest sympathy to his family. Sincerely,
Sharon and Ted Taylor, Oak Lake.

Thoughts and prayers to the family.. My fave memory of Al as a fellow eastender was his way of using the King George fence as a good defense..In a game we played.
Going to miss him.
Doug.

Al and I worked together for 18 years in the Chip Trucks. In addition to being a good friend, he was always reliable to help where needed and offer constructive suggestions based on his experience in the concession industry. Most notable, was Al's absolute honesty with funds. He was willing to do the dirty jobs if needed and almost nothing could prevent him from turning up for work when needed. His contributions and personality made working with Al an enjoyable experience. - Myron

In the Chip Truck, Big Al was like an uncle to me. Some of the best memories I have of those days was when Al, my Dad, & I were all working away with 150 people in line. Those are the first memories I have of feeling like I was part of a team. Thanks for that Al. You'll always live in my memory.

Sure will miss you Al. We had many good visits when we were on our veranda. We would see you on that scooter you loved so much - and we would say, "here comes Al." It was a 3 hour visit one night and lots of shorter ones. Rest in Peace "Big Al."

Having known Al since grade school I can say he was as nice back then as he was last time I seen him. Will fondly remember him. Condolences to all family and friends of Al.
