My sincere condolences to the family
l worked with Ken for a good number of years at the Brandon generating station and was lucky enough to be on the same shift for my last few years. l found Ken to be pleasant ,helpful and never asked for any more in life than he gave. Even though l have been away from Brandon for 26 yrs l still remember Ken and will miss him.

Dearest Val, Kolby and Kristy and family,
Ken will be missed so much by our family being long time neighbors. It is hard to express the feelings and words to say for such a loss. Ken was a fabulous and generous neighbor, with his kind heart and cheery personality. For 21 years he has been so helpful to us and looking out the window seeing him on his ski doo or plowing our lane on his little green tractor or puttering around in the yard. He is and will be missed so much!

Dear Val and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I met Ken in September of 1991 when I began working at the Brandon Generating Station in the office. Ken was a tremendous guy to work with up until his retirement. He was always upbeat and could see and make the best of everything.
My late husband Bob (Rob) had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times at social functions held in Hydro Park. Over the years when conversing about my co-workers with my husband he would always say: "You know, one of my favourite people is Ken Carton." I can understand why because Ken was one of the most positive and personable people I've ever met. I hope Bob is waiting at Heaven's Door to welcome Ken with a nice tumbler of rye and coke, lots of ice, Bob's favourite drink too.
In the midst of your sorrow, may you find peace and hope for all your tomorrows.
