Wenda and family....I was so sad to hear Lorne lost his long fought battle. Heaven gained a special angel when he passed. He was such a wonderful man and you both were always so good to our girls when they started at Douglas school years ago. Just reading all the comments here shows just how much he was respected and loved. Bless you all during this most difficult time.
Love to all

Condolences from Pam and I to you Sends and your family. Lorne embraced us upon our arrival in Shilo and helped make the transition from being away from family easier. Besides the copious amounts of brown "medicinal" liquids we shared, the jokes and laughter are what made the encounters at the SEC memorable. You will be missed.

Wendy and family, I have had the pleasure of knowing Lorne for the past fifteen years or so in our mutual involvement with ANAVETS. I consider Lorne to have been one of the outstanding leaders in our association.
He was the the voice of reason and common sense. In our deliberations he invariably put forward the solution to the problem that we all agreed upon.
I admired his strength in adversity and determination not to let it prevent him from continuing to serve.
I shall miss wonderful smile.
