I just read about Michelle passing away in this site. I am deeply sad and will always miss her wonderful smile. I loved Michelle deeply when she was staying in Brandon and working for MTS. I always picked her up at work and we spent my summers camping at Clear Lake. I regret going back to my country alone without her. Now in my old age, I can truly say she was the only true love of mine.

Keith and I send our deepest condolences to Michelle's family. We got to know Michelle at the Legion during Old Time dance lessons and many other dances and events. She always went out of her way and went an extra mile or ten to make everyone feel welcome. We always enjoyed chatting with her and sharing many laughs. She had an amazing and wonderful sense of humour. Michelle enjoyed keeping the Legion decorated with a lot of her own home decorations on every occasion that she could find, which continually brought life and colour to the Legion. It always made us smile when coming into the Legion as one never knew what they were going to find! We were very much looking forward to seeing and visiting with her again in the fall and had warned her we would be back! So, it was with great sadness that we heard she had passed. We will very much miss her with her kindness, generosity and beautiful smile.
Sincerely, Keith and Teresa Lobel

Michelle was a funny person who brought laughter to me. She had a fine sense of humour that I appreciated. She was a hard worker and went the extra mile when she didn't need to do so. I will certainly miss her. My sympathies to the family. Kel Smith of Virden
