I was so very sorry to hear recently of Greg's passing. I worked with Greg at Kokonas for almost five years and shared in its hey day. Lots of fun and fury with all of the who's who there every weekend. Greg was always so quiet and kind and ready for a laugh even when things got very tense in the kitchen. You could always ask Greg for something, no matter what, and he would help. He was always very kind and generous to everyone around him. Thank you, Greg. May you be at peace now.
With sincerest condolences to all of his family and close friends,
Carolyn Gwyer

Shelley and the Gammack family, as a friend of your Mom's, I knew Greg years ago and also ate many meals where he was the chef.
Do hope knowing he is at peace and with your folks will be a comfort.
Sincerely, Sheila Evason

We send our deepest Condolences to Greg's family. Greg will be missed by those who knew him.. I had the privilege of working with Greg at Sokol Hall. he was a great chef and taught me many of his skills. I have not met a person yet that could carve meat like Greg did with such professions.. I enjoyed working with him. Greg and I retired at the same time. He lived many years in the apartment block that Brian Managed. When his health was better he would help around the apartments. He was always ready to give Brian a hand. When Greg's health started to deteriorate, we felt so bad for him, so it was our turn to help him. Greg appreciated everything anyone did for him. R.I.P our friend. Our deepest Sympathy to Greg's family. Brian and Sandy Macialek
