I remember the warm hospitality Aunt Elva extended to us as we spent our memorable summers on the Canadian prairie in Brandon. She taught us about kindness, warmth and other great values all the while welcoming us to her home. I will always be great full to her words of wisdom and thoughtful jestures that made us feel at home in Brandon. Her spirit will live on through her daughters and many members of our extended family in Canada and the United States.

Elva you made a lot of changes in a graceful way to our family. Mutter Brothers Store with you working there was a better place. All the customers cared deeply for you & the difference you made Eva. May you rest in peace. My condolences & sympathy to Maxine & Helen. Love, Aunt Jeanne Pallett (nee Mutter) .

I remember all the great times we shared with Elva & Maxine & the Delgetti's & the Stothards on Sunday picnics going down to the River. I was really lucky to have worked with Elva in the Brandon Clinic. Elva was always so efficient, kind & considerate. It was through Elva & Mrs. Stothard that Maxine & I met and became life long friends of 40 years now. The years have passed so quickly; but the love of these special friendships are truly a gift for me as I think back & remember how very fortunate I have been to have had these very special people in my life. With fondness & love Max....I will always be there for you. Though we are so many miles apart we are just a phone call away from each other. I sure hope to visit with you soon and help you through this difficult time. Love Sharon Toews
