Dorothy was my school chum, in Milltown High School, she just called me a couple of weeks ago, and she always would say, Barb, do you remember the day we got picked for cheerleaders, I met you on the sidewalk and someone had told her we got picked, so we ran up the street into school and up to the board where our names were posted.
We were jumping up and down and squeeling so much that the principal came out and told us to get to our classroom, we were so happy. And we went together on different trips to cheer the basketball team on.
She had just a great memory, telling me about car rides we took over the bridge and her grandmother too.
Dorothy was a great person, and this is just a shock to me, and to find it out reading it in the paper, I couldn't believe my eyes, as Dorothy said we were planning a get together in the Fall, when she came over.
Also Dorothy always came to my birthday parties at my house.
I send my deepest heartfelt condolences to her family. May God Bless her family at this sad time.
