Dear Norma and family,
It is with shock and sadness that we read about Rozie's passing in the Brandon Sun. Remember that Rozie is not gone...he is living in each and everyone of you and will be there forever. Rozie will be remembered by anyone he came in contact with. He had that type of personality.His honesty and humor were exactly who he was. His family was his whole life and he always talked about his boys and grandkids. As a co worker he was a true professional and he was one of the first person there to mentor and accept new members..As a friend he would be there and do anything for you, no questions asked. One of my latest great memory was climbing the pyramid in Mexico with him and as a couple of geezers holding onto the rope and giggling on the way down. He was one great prankster, you always had to be on your toes. Norma you were the light of Norm's life and we are glad you had your many years together. He will be missed. RIP Rozie.

Dear Norma and family,
With great shock did we hear about the loss of our cousin Norman . No words are there to explain our grief . Another great Guy is taken from us way too early. We got to know HIM well over the years and we were glad we had a chance to share a lot of awesome memories together. So many pictures and video's made together and an interest in the family tree is what Gerard and I shared with your whole family. Mel & I where very fond of Norm, except when he would phone at 6 o'clock in the morning for Mel to go for coffee on the days that they where on shift at the fire hall... then I didn't think he was such a nice guy. Norma and family .....our hearts go out you at this sad time, Norm was truly one of a kind and Blair, Justin, Sara and myself will never forget him. We have so many wonderful memories of time spent with him and your entire family over the years and reflecting on these special times has been so comforting to us. I will never forget the kindness he extended to me as a novice nurse who was so nervous to take ambulance trips to Wpg ....he was so supportive & instilled in me a confidence of " You got this" that truly didn't exist but with such a caring professional like Norm boosting you....well it was just so much easier.......and he could always lighten up the mood too....even during the stressful times. He truly loved life and his family was such a source of pride for him, his face lit up with love when he talked about what he had done with the family recently.....usually having something to do with fishing or hunting of course. Norma, he loved you so so much.....Blair & I often said how much we admired your relationship and wanted to have that also.......your joint support as a newly formed family will never be forgotten....thank you also for being instrumental in shaping the man that Blair is today, your family was always there for him as a youngster and beyond.
Norm's strength in facing his illness is to be admired ....one more reason to love the guy that was " Normie". Hold each other tight and draw strength from each other, your family will get through this together just as Norm would expect you too...... So sorry for your loss. Rozie will be missed. I appreciated him not only as a coworker but also as a friend. Rozie would always take the time to stop and talk with me no matter when and where and was always interested in not only how I was doing, but also how my family was as well. He was so proud of his kids and grandkids and I enjoyed hearing the stories about them. He was truly a family man and I am honoured to have know him.
