Charlie & family,
We were so sorry to hear of Edna's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Edna was a special lady. We remember her laugh, her positive spirit, and her undaunted dedication to the Corps, especially through her band leadership and other musical involvement. Through our sorrow, we also experience a sense of joy as we know she is with the Lord, resting and rejoicing in His presence.
May the Lord's comfort be so real to you in these days.

I have many fond memories of Edna, having worked with her at Betty Gibson School for 10 years. She had a "no nonsense" approach to dealing with students but in a kind and caring way. May His grace and mercy carry you through this difficult time, Charlie and family. Sincerely, Maureen Martin

Bev, Kevin and family,
Our thoughts and prayers have been with you all through this week of much grief and sorrow. May you find strength in knowing that so many are uplifting you to God's Throne of Grace in prayer.
As we have heard you many times speak of your mom and her love for the Lord and the Army, we know that she is at rest now in the Home God has prepared for her in Heaven.
Deuteronomy 33:27 says, 'The Eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms'.
Our Hope is the Eternal God who will continue to uphold you in these days.
With Love and Prayers,
Chris & Claudette Pilgrim (Majors)
& Your church Family @Guelph Citadel

We loved dropping by for a visit on our trips out west. We were always welcomed with open arms We particularly remember playing games at their house in Brandon. We remember about 11 people all playing one game that had us cheering and laughing out loud for what seemed like hours. Good fun times. Until we meet again ..... Love Rod and Donna Kingdon and family

Dear Charlie, Bev and Dave, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife and mom. My parents called to tell me of Edna's passing. There are so many memories of your mom as we grew up -your home was like a second one to me. So many Sundays I accompanied you to church then after lunch a Sunday drive with my favorite drive to the Brandon Hills. How we all would giggle as Charlie would speed up the hill. Your home was always open and usually full of music either violin or piano. I can still see your mom tap her foot and hold her head in a way when you knew she was not happy with what we did. All the moves from 900 block 5th street to your grandma's house then to 9th street. It was then we grew apart as we got older but my heart is full of heartful memories!! So many memories to hold close to your hearts-your mom is now rewarded in the Lord's home. It's been 35 years Bev since I've loss touch with you but those days of growing up mean so much to me! You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time, please contact me, Debbie Stevens(Stothard) Moose Jaw Sk.

Edna & I (Marian Armstrong) shared many fun times in our early child-hood years (late '40's & early '50's, when my Dad & I would come for many visits at Uncle Elliot's & Aunt Myrtle's place at their home in Brandon. As we got older, our paths went in different directions, but I never lost those wonderful memories. RIP Edna

How sad our family is to hear of Ednas passing. Always there with a smile and kind words. I will never forget her lively conducting of the church band and playing the music on Sunday mornings. Now she's gone on to Glory. Take comfort in your faith and may God comfort you and grant you peace during this sad time

Charlie and family our thoughts and prayers are with you. We had many good years in Brandon and enjoyed fun times with you and Edna. The loss will be great at the Brandon Citadel and in the Community, Edna was so involved, her prayer would be for others to take up the challenge. God Bless Joan & Ray Hammel.
